Looking for a car in AZ, anybody seen it?

My step-dad called me about a stock black 1928/29 Model A Roadster for sale somewhere in AZ. It is an older gentleman located in Scottsdale or Phoenix. Unfortunately i do not have any other details. He heard about it from a friend that saw it "somewhere online" and he wants to buy it, but doesn't have the guys contact info.

I searched the usual places, but didn't see anything. If you know about the car please let me know.

Yeah, I told him the odds of finding this car were slim with such little info. The only other thing he told me was that the guy wanted 21k, but was willing to negotiate.

 

I would keep looking somewhere else for 21k. It would have to be a prety smokin car for that money.

Frank has been in the hot rod/restoration business forever and if anybody knows where said roadster is for sale, he would. He always has leads on old Ford stuff for sale. In fact it may be on display at his shop now.

 

I've seen the one on the craigslist link at the 67Ave & Bell rd Sat cruise,nice car but still a bit pricey I think.

Actually you are in a good place to ask about one. if it is a well built rod there is a good chance that someone on here owns it or that one of the Arizona fellas know who it is that is selling it.

That isn't going to keep me from giving you a hard time though.

 

21k seems a bit pricey for a "restored" stocker.
