Are you looking to run the flathead or go to a V8? Below is a lot of info for the flathead if you go that direction. That is what I am running in my 48 Plymouth Coupe with an R10 OD transmission.

You should also check out Olddaddy here on the HAMB for disc brake kit which is basically a bolt on.
