I have found a 1925 DODGE BROS 5 WINDOW COUPE on Evils Bay. And I kinda like it. Is this a good body to channel? Looks like there is not much run for a z'ed frame.

    Has anyone built one?

  3. Ive got one, hav'nt built it yet but ive done a little mock up recently. theres not a whole lot of room in the trunk but you can z the frame 8-10" and still have room for a aluminum gas tank. i thought i would go with the z frame and a suicide front perch but decided on an underslung set up front and back, figured i would make it as hard as possible on myself.... glutton for punishment.

i have a 25 dodge coupe and built it about 15 years ago with a big block mopar, chopped 6" and channeled. i'm currently re doing it with a late model 5.7 hemi and winters qc rear end, along with a new chassis i'm building. with that flat top, they just look way too cool. by the way, a 57-59 ford station wagon roof welds in nicely for the top and it gives it the support ribs too. i'm also installing the tci stainless upper and lower a-arms. i'm getting close. they make great hot rods. the nicest part is that they aren't a fiberglass deuce with a 350 chevy.

sorry to double post, but mine is a 5 window doctor's coupe and it didn't have a trunk lid. i found out that the compound curves of a '64 ford truck hood makes a fine trunklid for this body. a bit of slicing and dicing, and then a bit of welding and my trunklid looks like it fits great on my body. channeling it 6" also gave it that "sneaky look" too.
