Hey Dodge Brothers , What have we here ? I think 1926 Dodge . Could it be Chrysler? It appears to have been a fancy model with crank side windows , rear roll up shades , visor and lots of nickel. Any leads on parts would be appreciated . Jeff Brock
looks like a `25 dodge , heres some pics...http://images.search.yahoo.com/imag...1gclk2ia&sigb=12sghv0v5#FCar=856eb17d3ad465ca
I'm real sure it's Dodge Brothers, because of the firewall imprint and hood windlace. Mac, I think it's '24-'25 but this trunk is differant then mine. The trunk is much smaller on the Fisher body. They had a business coupe like this in '23 too, but without the visor. They went back to 3 window coupes in '26. I can't believe how many DBs are being dug up on the HAMB.
Is the trunk on your 24/25 Fischer Body a "typical lid" type or this "cap" type? Thanks for the help.
My trunk is just a small rectangle about 14 X 30ish, almost flat. My Fisher coupe DB has a wooden body JUST like a Chevrolet coupe. This trunklid is like DB used on the roadsters, gigantic. You can actually get something in the trunk in this car.
Is this 25' a Fischer Body Dodge or a Budd body? It matters only because I was born and raised in Flint Michigan , home of Fischer Body .
poop ! { I still like the style and have a small flock of old Hemis dieing to breath again }. Just for kicks / history , where was the Budd body plant located ?
Nicest Dodge coupe I have ever seen. Is she yours? If so around how much did it cost to build? I am just wondering because I would love to build something like that but I am lacking funds.
bobw, your dodge coupe looks like the doctor's coupe which has a longer trunk lid. mine was missing the trunklid so a bit of creative slicing and welding and i was able to build an almost exact replica trunklid using a '64 ford truck hood. it's got the correct compound curves that allowed me to build a trunklid for mine which is almost impossible to find.
