It looked good under the carport. A little surface rust, no missing trim panels or cancer. Instantly got the bug as soon as it fired off. Called the drop deck and drug it home. Ater I pulled the sheet metal off the front and I started looking closely and OMG! What kinda cheese whiz is this ? Can't identify the front clip but, supposedly a Camaro or Nova I do know I dont like it. Original frame cut about a foot forward from the roll under the cab. Welded clip rail rolls down & under original frame about 3/4 the way to the back of the cab. Any help in where to go from this point or links to what it should look like with a Camaro clip in place would be greatly appreciated. She's mine now and have to live with the clouded judgement. Thanks

You ROCK my freind ! You saved me countless hours of searching not to mention the cost involved of s****ing the frame & starting over. Looking at his pics & the ones of my 56 with the clip in place looks identicle. Mine just needs a few hours of grinding to clean up the welds. Now i'm back to feeling good about the purchase and concentrate on getting her back on the road. Thank you
