    Hi

Have searched ,but not found much :)

Early 30's steel fender undersides , have already prepped / etch primed + high build 2k primer, want to finish smooth but also dont want (many)stonechips

Thinking of using anti stonechip primer (eg Wurth or 3m ,the type which can be painted over)
Afaik this has a texture ,presume can sand smooth when dry (shrunk) ?
Is it supposed to be overcoated with colour / top coat in a "window of time" or should one use an adhesion promoter prior to colour coats ?

Or would some extra coats of 2k / single stage colour instead of anti stone chip help prevent stone chip damage...?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

LizardSkin is the way to go. I did the whole inside, trunk and under fenders with LizardSkin for sound and heat. It's worth the money.
