Hi, I'm pretty new to the H.A.M.B. but I have a Hot rod '41 chev pickup that is in good shape but I'm doing some things to make it better. The big waterfall grill is in good shape (one small dent) but the chrome isn't up to par. I live in Washington State and am looking for a good chrome shop that is at least somewhat reasonably priced. Anyone got some recomendations? Repop chhrome grills are over $800 and stated as not show quality.

There is a place in South Dakota called Black Hills Plating that does excellent work on original grilles. They straighten them and re-chrome them. They were at a local show here last week and their work is top notch. I think its right around 800 or 1000 for a 41-46 Chevy grille. They will be doing my '46 grille.

    Here's their link.
