Looking at a pretty much complete 3 window coupe. Fenders all need dents knocked out and repair. Tail piece has dents, Main body not too bad. Rust that was patched behind seat. Typical surface rust and along running boards. Has a supposedly rebuilt 348 w/ trans??

Question is without someone seeing it and at the worse senario. What would it be worth at the least. Need to pull the trigger in a day or 2

    Thanks

You saw that one too huh? Dont worry, Im no threat as I dont have the cash, haha. Its a tough one to judge, it looked pretty rough in the pics. I think the price may have been a little steep. I'd plan on a rebuild on the 348 because it has been sitting, and the body looked rough. Remember, everything looks better in pictures!

I have a '36 3-window and although it's tough to be definitive without seeing it, I'd say based on your description, it should be worth somewhere around $15k

I have one too and have watched them for some time. Sounds like $15-$20k.

I have one also and you really need to see it in person to figure out the value. Like most of the early Fords; there are a lot of "inner" sheet metal parts that are not visible in photos taken from the outside of the car. If there is rust in the inner panels, floor, door bottoms, bottom of the quarters or cowl or the rockers you could very quickly spend as much in metal repair as you pay for the car.

    Be careful.

You need to see the car in person. From your description it could need door bottom, cowl and quarter panel replacement panels and also inner trunk panel work. Some original body parts are getting very difficult to find if you need replacements. Does it have a clear ***le?

    Like others have said $15-$20K

How bad do you want one?

Don't buy a car without looking at it. Either see it in person or have another HAMBer look at it for you.
