i am looking for a Pitman arm for a mopar manual steering box (67-74 car) That is staright and will accept the taped rod ends. Does any body know if there is a company that makes one? Or if there is an original one that is staright with a tapered hole in it?

    Thanks

There are lots of straight OEM types with tapered splines, and tapered tie-rod bore at the small end; the boxes were mfd by Saginaw, (they made steering boxes for GM, Ford, etc)
Most are 6"-7" in length, but there are others.

The thing to remember is that as a rule, the standard steering sector shaft diameter is smaller than the power steering one. Take a caliper to the wrecking yard, measure the sector shaft just above the pitman arm you find.

One more note: The shaft is 'timed', or 'mastered' in 4 positions on the spline, so the pitman arm has to go on in 90 degree increments. The pitman arm is usually splined in the same manner, so if interchanging them, the 4 'master splines' are just fills between 2 teeth, and can be cut with a triangle file. Then the arm can be centered on the shaft, for equidistant movement right and left.
