Been a member for quite a while. Finally getting around to an intro. Ford guy mostly. 65 Comet Cyclone (narrowed 9" w/4.57 grs, 351C,toploader), 58 Ranchero, 56 Merc wagon, 63 Galaxie G-code, 29 Ford coupe (283, powerglide), 70 Boss 302, 62 F-250 unibody, 88 Mustang GT convertible, 01 Lincoln LS POS. Most of the above are projects. Also have several Ford and Chevy engines that are in various stages of progress. Boss 351,409,406,312,390. Like doing the mechanicals including engine/trans building. May be opening an engine building shop if things work out. Live in So Cal (Bellflower)
Welcome "new guy" (kind of), Live in AZ now but grew up in the San Gabriel valley pretty close to you. Mostly El Monte, Rosemead, Baldwin Park, Azuza, Yeah, we moved around alot. Whenever the rent came due sometimes.
My favorite of my small collection. Had it since '71, my second car ever. Actually made a few p***es in it at the old original Irwindale Dragstrip (now Miller Brewery) in the mid '70's. It would be even better with that sohc motor of yours.
It is stored right now and kind of hard to get at for pics right now. This may be some incentive to get back at it. Do you have pics of your Comet? Is it a '65?
