    Tony,

The car looks awesome...and that first drive? Well, it's close to that first kiss, or that gorgeous girl you like a lot pressing her boobs against your body...or getting naked and making love for the first time...AIN'T nothing better. You'll remember that drive for a long time.

You should be excited everytime you turn the key and slip behind the wheel...

Oh no you won't, i'll steel all your beer!
    Haha...

I borrowed a buddy's dealer plate a couple years ago and drove it a couple mile's to Dat Dirty Rat's for a party..
That was kinda fun,it was right after i chopped it so it had no paint, NO window's at all..kinda like riding a bike with no eye protection :D.

Hey Rockstar.........Now that you got the open hood pic out of your system, promise you will never open it in public again......... Customs are meant to have their hoods shut... I know you know that.............. (but way to many others just do not understand.......

    Tony the car looks killer

Need to find a show later in the year where you, other DB Packrats and I can hook up, I hear Sept/Oct is a good time to set sail (with the capt.)

    LOL....

I have NO intention's what so ever to EVER park this car with the hood open!!!
    EVER!
    I hate that myself.
In fact, when i was at the cruise night, a buddy wanted me to show his pop's the mill, i told him i'll show him at home 'cause i didn't want to open the hood...

To the best of my knowledge, GG Rhinebeck is going to happen again for us..
I have the rooms already, and we all really dig that show..
    It's in Sept.
Maybe you can come up for that one.......
    Set sail....hmmm....Never done that before..

    DOUCHEBAGS!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Tony, buddy, open the fucking hood! If someone wants to check out what’s under the hood, show them. WTF, is there some secret society rule about not opening up hoods now???? Did I miss that meeting??? That’s about the stupidest fucking thing I have ever heard in the 30 plus years I have been building cars. And I hate to burst bubbles, but customs DO open up hoods, maybe on other planets they don’t but here they do. You have a custom, that means your different. That’s why we all build customs, because we go against the grain. So be different and open the hood.
Your car looks good; you have a lot to be proud of. When we get Dirty back up and running and I get the motor back in the Tijuana Taxi we all can roll and do a little damage to the lame ass car scene here in Crap-chester.

Tony stop over some night, me and Momma are home a lot these days….

Hey Dirty, was that too harsh? AM I being an ass-hole again lol…..

    Later Bro

Naa, not too harsh and not being an asshole..your stating how you feel, your oppinion.
I (meaning ME) don't like to look at a custom car with the hood, door, trunk open. I ( me again :D) like to see how everything flow's, thats all..

I wasn't trying to come off like a dick, my buddy's ole man has been to the house to see the car several time's, he's seen the mill before and nothing's changed, and i told him that too. I should have typed that differently i guess..
When people have asked, i'll show them..it's parking them with shit open i don't like.

A perfect example is our friend with the KILLER yellow poncho.
I LOVE the car and the way it all works together, but when i saw it the other night he had the hood open and it took soooo much away from the beauty of the car..You missed all the work that went into making the front of it so smooth. I mean, they did a SWEET job of pan-caking the hood and the pie cut's to the front fender's, but all you saw were the inner fender's and motor.

I'm only stating my own oppinion here, not stating what i feel should be the "rule"..
Everyone can do whatever they want, thats cool. No reason for a debate on opening hoods.

As far as all of us rolling...
    I'M IN!
I talked to Dirty today and he was hoping to get the time to pull the starter out to see how bad it is..
Hopefully we can get him back up and running this week sometime.
And i'm still here if you need help with the 'taxi'.

    How's mamma doing?

Oh yeah, i guess your an asshole anyway :D..
    Obviously so am i.

A local guy who has a glass shop did it.
He's from a family who has been in the glass business for 3 generations now.
    He now has his own.
He was telling me he's done many chopped car's with very good luck..many on the first shot like mine.

He's also a car guy, which helps a lot not only in trying to describe what you need done, but in the way he does it.
You can tell he take's a lot of pride in his work.

Mad57olds got me in touch with him..
