Projects Just had Gene Winfield paint my car & thought I'd share some pics.

I just got the body back on the newly powder coated frame with hours to spare to make my deadline to have Gene Winfield paint my car. Awesome time spending 2 days in the shop with Gene & Mike Webb from Webb Customs painting this. Gene is a true gentleman and taught the whole way. It's way more wild than I expected but he says he paints until he's happy and doesn't know how it will turn out until it's done.

This is my new favorite thread on the HAMB. That is my dream to have Gene paint my car. It turned out perfect! I love it! Post more pics when it is getting completed!

 

Loving it, very good work, love the long roofs. Keep it up.

 

Man, that is sharp, and to be able to say "The Man" painted it makes it especially cool. Not many people can say that.

OF COURSE...IT'S GENE WINFIELD WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE! HE'S A FREAKING LEGEND! I got to get some pictures with him at 2 different car shows (one in Kansas and one this year at Austin's car show) he's SOO COOL and down to earth! it's nice to know that even when you ARE famous in the car industry, you can still be good ol' guy and chat with people who are avid hot rod lovers!

Dang,,,, I didn't know I could still Pop-a-Chubbie but that did it for me. I think it's the combo of 57 Ford and Way Kool paint. I love it. Can't wait to see it done.
