Its almost that time of year again! Lots of great pre-entries, and the Iron Lords, Road Devils (Devils Brigade), and a few Saints will be hosting it again this year. Looking forward to seeing some really quality traditional hot rods, customs and stockers there, along some great two wheeled action too. 8am til 4pm on Trade street in Winston!

I'll be there bright and early!

  3. What I found: http://www.heavyrebel.net/Bands.html Has times and locations of bands and etc. by day. Car show $10 unless you buy the 3 day pass. One day pass is still $10 for the car show. I sent Ted Blackington an e-mail to pre-register.

As of now, the plan is for 7 cars from the upstate of SC to caravan together on Friday morning and staying thru Sunday morning. Gonna be a blast!

  6. I'm thinking three day pass and I would leave Sunday morning IF you or Martin comit to the same. I'm going to pull the trigger soon, I just don't like the idea of paying for three days and only be there two. Still the price is right.

  7. Russ, Give one of the Iron Lords a shout! They should know enough to educate you!

Hopefully I'll see you there....if I can convince the best half to come with me. :D

  8. I'm not worthy of IL status....just call me a Potmetal Peasant! :D I live closer to you than I do to Concord!

JJ should be able to tell you that info!

If I do show, It'll be Saturday only and as a spectator only! No music shows, just meander outside, maybe take some pics and quietly move on. Gotta be in Charlotte Sunday anyway!

Next year may very well be a different story....might show up with my brushes and my new Model A!

I a trying to get the motor back together in my 50 but I AM GOING if I have to take my chopper. I will be a Saturday only guy.

  10. From what I see the bands start at 5:00 on Friday and Saurday, so unless you stay past 5:00 on Saturday you will only need a one day pass plus car show fee. Two one day($35 each) passes and the car show= $80 with the three day being the same in advance.

I'll be there. We're only doing the car show. The big priced stuff is for all the bands n such. If you buy a weekend pass the car show is free.

  15. I got my pre-registered (car show) confirmation e-mail today. See ya there.

Dave, make up your mind already!

Lots of great pre-entries already. D-russ you can just buy a carshow pass for ten and not buy any of the dailey passes. There'll be a few bands outside during the carshow. You just wont be able to see the inside stuff. The quality of traditional cars and bikes has gotten so much better over the past couple years, and i expect it to get better still this year. I cant wait to see that belly tank!

  17. Does the "inside stuff" include the vendors? Shows, I'd understand, but I'd hate to think I'd have to buy a pass to buy some products! Either way, I'll be there for $10 on Saturday!

It used to be earlier in the day you could go inside to see the vendors without buying a pass. Im not sure if thats still the case, but i"ll check.

Sounds like a great show but also sounds like there is a lot of confusion of how much to attend and what you get. Why do they do it that way ? Most shows you pay your one fee and you get it all.

It's really easy, if all you want is to enter the car show, it's $10. The rest has to do with the bands and such. And there are 1 day and 3 day passes for that which gets you entered in the car show for free. The car show is free to spectate.

Don, the car show is held in conjunction with a musical weekender that usually has about 80 bands. The carshow is free to attend for everyone and ten dollars to register a car if your not attending the weekender. I only help with the carshow but i can try to answer any questions.

Saw him today and was amazed at how well he is doing. He was helping Jeff change out windshields and looked great!
