    Hey there jalopy Kid,

That will be great if you make it down, what ya gonna bring? Just show up and you can register both friday or saturday. Watch for signs directing people, but you want to look for Group Camp #1, and registration will be there 930am till noon, then it will move over to the Echo beach parking lot for where the show and shine is at. poker run starts at 11am at the Group Camp #1 on saturday. Well you will definitely be in the hand for longest distance, i have not heard of anybody else with that kind of drive ahead of them. Hope you can make it down.

If you make it down friday night feel free to cruise thru the campground on friday night even if its late as I am sure many will still be up.

Sounds good, look forward to seeing you guys come out. As i told Jalopy kid, poker rally around the lakes starts at 11am Saturday, and you dont wanna miss that. Meet in Group Camp #1 for info and registration in the morning on saturday. If you happen to drive out friday we have a cruise night in Fort Qu'appelle at Houston pizza 7-9pm, and registration for run will also be there that night.

Well all I can say is JESUS what a weekend it was awesome as always. Awesome time radical vehicles the whole 9 Yards..In fact it was so good I got home from it on Sunday at noon..and Just woke up to post this message..Anyways thanks to Brent and the Northsiders for a heeluva time..The other Brent!!

  18. WOW what an awsome event. i was worried i would drive 9 hours and there would be 8 cars there but i was actually very impressed. There was no ignorant high dollar billet cars just a bunch of really cool guys with some very cool cars, Brent your Pontiac is insane, i love it. The poker rally was pretty sweet also, even though I did break both rear shock mounts on those goat trail highways. I already have 3 other cars lined up for next year from Edmonton. Also those trophys were amazing, I was so impressed that you guys took the time to hand make the trophys instead just buying cheap plastic ones. I totally did not expect to win Best Kruiser. When my name was called i was like "Whaaa???" there was some awsome cars there. But i would definetly like to thank the Northside Street Rods for putting on an awsome event. You guys are a great bunch and i had an absolute blast. I will definetly be back next year!!

Well thanks to everyone that DID make it out to the Hotrod hi-jinx and helped to make it yet another success. We had 54 entries this year as compared to our 38 last year. It was awesome weather and everyone had a great time from the poker rally to the show to the evening social gathering. I will post pics probably tonight from the event, have not had time yet as i am still tryin to catch up on my sleep from the event haha.

Thanks to Jalopy Kid for drivin all the way from Edmonton to attend, he was the long distance award winner, as well as pickin up the Best Kruiser award.
We had 1 edmonton, 3 saskatoon, 3 montana, 2 estevan, 6 moose jaw, 1 imperial, 1 Willow Bunch and the rest were Regina cars. Great to see everyone that came out and some new faces from far off places.

Hope to see everyone again next year, and more.

Stay tuned for Hi-Jinx Pics comin soon.

Here are some pics away from the show and shine as well. This show is open to everything from latemodel customs to old style hotrods to sport compacts and custom bikes. Any special interest vehicle is allowed. I only posted the ones that are traditional on here tho there were plenty of other great rides out at this event.

This is checking in Friday afternoon at the campground, with a steady stream of rides arriving.

Man - you and your club have some killer rides - and the rides that went to the show rock. Love your brothers truck - and the potiac kicks ***. And Jalopy Kid - your truck looks mean! And you drove it all the way from Edmonton - awesome! Also - the trophys! Looks like a killer car show!

JD and I gotta make it down to this next year. Hopefully we don't have a wedding to go to. "Sorry honey - I don't care if your brothers getting married - I've got a previous engagement."

    MORE PICS!!!!!! NICE!

    Jon.
