I've got a 1964 Dodge 440 coupe. It was bracket raced in Portland & Vancouver Washington back in the 1970's I think. I'm wondering if anyone may recall this car from way back then. It was Red. It was bought from Wades Auto Wrecking in 1983,had a 383 in it, cracked block, and was trashed. It was put into storage for 25 years and I've been restoring it the past 3 years. Soon it will breathe life again and be a street cruiser. It's had rear wheels tubbed and a narrowed rear end from when it was raced. Thanks.

Loron Wade p***ed away several years ago. Wades Auto Wrecking has been closed for several years. If you post pics I will p*** the info along to his nephew who is one of our club members and a very active drag racer. He may remember the car.

I remember Wade's back in the 70's. I think it's still a vacant lot today. Can't remember the car in question. What color was it when you got it?

I don't have any old pics of the car. Names on the ***le though were Robert G Graves of Brush Prairie Washington - this was back in 1983. He's since p***ed away I think. Another name on the margin of the ***le was Mark Anderson. I have no clue why that name was written there. The car had fenderwell headers and looked like it had a tow bar welded to the front at some point. It's factory color was white, then repainted red but was stripped to bare metal and primed shortly after we got it. Here is a pic of when it came out of storage 3 years ago. Tires and wheels are same as when we got the car.
