Free Car Show June 16th Des Moines Iowa

This is our 10th annual Backyard BBQ and car show ! there is no entry fee, lunch is free, I'm not talkin a cheep hotdog and bag of chips. We have Burgers, Brats, Hotdogs, BBq beans, Potato Salad.....you get the idea! and we give away cash prizes, $100 for Pastors Pick, $100 for Deacons Pick, and $100 for Most coveted. This all takes place in our backyars at Saylorville Church, 6429 NW 6th Drive Des Moines,Iowa. We also have games for the kids. The hours are 11 am to 2 pm. here are some pics from last year

If the sun is out, I plan to be there. The old vacuum wipers don't work on my old Chevy!

 

Thanks for the invite, and info. Looks like it might rain. Too bad, I would have loved to come. I attended a couple of years ago and had a great time. Post again next year.

 

Well we pilled it off again... We were done and cleaned up before the rain hit! We had 90 cars show up and 10 cars from with in the church so we hit 100! Thanks everyone for coming ! The winners were ......Most Coveted ,Jon Eide 70 Chevelle SS Convert . Pastors Pick ,Bob Neundorf 68 firebird. Deacons Choice Ron Novak 58 Corvette. this guy shows up on a 73 Norton Commando that he just finished restoring and another guy on his Benelli. Enjoy the pics
