real fun to read this post! :) all those comments makes me "push harder" on the project, this is my dream car, i´m so glad i found it... so i will make it as good as i can! yeah i turned 22 a couple of months ago, i started taking my first car apart when i was 14, my whole life have all time been all about cars, music and so on, i´m lucky to have a nice girl who understands me and will try to buy a chevy 54 to customize.. isn´t that great?
can´t wait until that day when i will stand outside the garagedoor knowing that i have a 55 chevy, my all of a time dreamcar standing inside, that works and runs... just get in to the car, feelin my el superior 500 steeringwheel in my left hand and the rebuilt hurst shifter with the linelock knob from mr gasket on in my right hand... knowing that when i will start the engine... HELL will brake loose...
beware turbofreaks and blower junkies... there´s a wicked 55 chevy lookin for you and it aint gonna be nice... ;)

yes! that is correct! :) i will save a lot of space....

"E Ticket Ride" - the ticket for the best rides in Disneyland back in the days. It's different now but any old timer will know what that means and you wanted an old timer name... Nice work, keep it up while you're young and energetic. :D

this is a pic of some cluth shit i have in my closet for the 55, new mccleuod hydraulic clutch ( or what the hell the name is)
tonight i have taken some tiny parts from an old shitty volvo 740 (i hate those ugly son-of a bitch- cars) it´s very normal here in sweden when you look under a hood on a yankee that there is some small part from a volvo donated to the car... not so surprised ey? well i can tell you this why i hate the 740is so much.. it´s not only the looks that makes me sick, just seeing them youngsters coming in there hopped up volvo with big exhaust, stock engine, lowered suspension and crappy paint, bouncin there way around thinkin they were drivin a ferrari just makes me nauseas! hahaha ;)
This Chevy is a revenge to the cocky youngsters in all of their turbo tuned EURO crap!

this badboy is eating turbos for breakfast.........

just imagine this guys, i think some of you have thought the same: it´s friday night and your´e in for some fun, you hop in the 55 and let the cubic inches speak for it self, the idle is so rough that it is almost impossible to drive on the street. , you drive away slowly in the night to find some competition... straight ahead you see some guys in their new toy, a japanese "thing" with spoilers, stickers and a turbo from a truck or some shit like that... you smile and think; well let see what they got under the plastic hot wheels truck? they are standing at a red light, you are crawling slowly beside the hippetyhoppety pimpmobile with lots of chrome and blue tubing under the hood. they laugh at you when they see the small rims and crappy paint... the smile get´s wider on your face and now you pump the gas three times next to them to "clean the pipes", they get serious very fast... at this time your´e laughing and reving the big inch bigblock to the red and then let all of the traction on the 10,5inch tires bite the dust! the hot wheels car disapeared very unexpectedly into an alleyway.... you have experienced the true thing about enjoyment of life! and the ride home goes slowly through the night and you feel som damn good!

to see a guy get humiliated and lose when he think he has it all and gets cocky about it, priceless.

well haha that´s my dream how i will use this ride, it´s all about enjoyment in life!

  16. Vey few 22 years olds would tackle such an ambitious project, but I have a feeling you'll see this one through to completion!
When it's completed you'll have the most bitchin' car in town and the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself!

    AMEN!!! PREACH PREACHAAAA"
I got a superior wheel too, old B&M shifter (no stick yet) 68 lemans buckets. no other feeling in the world can match it...And i ain't even driven this one yet:p
But just idling mine while breaking in the cam had me all silly, to slap um wide open on Saturday night is pure unadulterated heaven.

    Don't lose that feeling.
Alotta guys get caught up in the "whizz bang, newest efficency, billet, whats everyone else doing, hottest thing"... I get the feeling thats not what your here for me neither.

But really tho it's fun shit:D
    Some guys get it.

haha sounds fantastic:D well, i will always walk my own way, finding new ways to get people pissed! i mean... how many would paint a chevy engine in ford blue for example?? hahaha ;)
i just took what i had on the shelf... ;)
the same with the predator carbs... many people think they are crap... but hey, is it really the carburettor that is trash? u gotta be patience with any carb... they need their time and adjustments, in my mind they would work as good as any other! and because people say they would´nt work, i will get them runnin... ;)
i have worked a lot with Webers and they need much love, but when they run.. THEY RUN!
i would love to have a jim inglese weber set for bigblock hehehe ;)
