I picked up this set of wheels from a craigslist ad this morning. I did a search and found a few mentions of them, but not a whole lot of information. Can anyone fill me in on them? When they were made? I don't think i've ever seen another set of them, but I think they're pretty cool looking. Thanks.

How much you want? Are they GM bolt pattern, back spacing, total width?

I sold a pair at Bakersfield many years ago. Mine were 8" wide and polished. Never
    seen any more.

Those are the coolest wheels I have seen in a long time. They just trip my trigger for some reason.

I have a pair of 15 x 6 that I picked up decades ago. Always wanted to find a pair 10 or 12" wide for the rear.

There's a local guy here that put a full set on his 57 chevy when he came home from Vietnam.

    I think it's a great looking wheel.

I, too, have a pair of those wheels...
Picked them up at The Barrie Swap Meet some 20 plus years ago...
Never, ever, found another pair to make a set for my 57...
    Still on the shelf waiting...
    They are very unique...
No one around here knew anything about them...
    You are one lucky dude...

Thanks, guys. These ones are chevy bolt pattern, 15x6.5. I don't even have a car to use them on right now, but they were just too cool to p*** up. They look live they've been sitting for a long time, so they're going to take some work to make them shine again. Anyone know what the best way to get rid of some of the heavier corrosion and scratches is? Could i soda blast them, or should I just start working them with some fine sandpaper and keep working up to finer grits before the final polish? I don't have a lot of experience restoring aluminum wheels.

Use some C-L-R to clean them up. It's great to get that **** off the aluminum, and will make them look nice.

I bought mine at the Barrie swap meet as well.

  12. A very uncommon wheel that was produced for a very short period of time. I rarely ever see them come up for sale, and when I do, they are usually the 6" sizes.
