I have a 37 ford speedometer and a muncie 4 speed trans. What speedometer cable should I use? Would the cable for the 37 work with the muncie? Thanks

Yes ... a stock original type 37 Ford speedometer cable " in good condition " will work. Or it did in a 40 Ford :D

If length is ok it should work, both the Muncie and the stock 37 trans used a 7/8-18 nut. If you need need a longer cable and housing PM me or email through our web site and we can make a new one any length you need.

I'm not positive what threads the speedometer end has but you should able to walk into the local NAPA and buy a "universal" cable and housing the right length off the shelf or have them have it there the next working day. You will need to know the length and ends you need though. A sample is good to take along as then you can tell them you need "one like this but ** inches long".
