WOW it's about time someone with imagination and talent besides Boyd builds a rod different than no other . Yea say what you want guys but Boyd stepped up to designing cars his way, like this guy. Good job I like the slight body design changes made on this truck.
damn, i hate young guns.when i was 20 i couldnt find my *** with both hands.son you have some serious talent.then some.i love that truck. i think it looks killer!!!!! if you ever think you would like another grandfather im your guy.lol now let grandpa tell you what he wants for his birthday.lol
Thanks for all great comments! I'm glad you guys like it, hope the Swedish people feel the same! More updates comming up!
That is totally awesome work!! You are very talented!! I can't wait to see the completed pictures, and hope you continue to build after you finish this project. I am sure you have a lot of time and money into it, but you are doing something that most other could never do!! Good for you and keep up the great work!!! Keep the pictures coming!! AkBillyBow
Extremely nice craftsmanship. For you to get the kind of praise you are getting on a forum that normally likes more traditionally built/styled cars shows how we respect good workmanship when we see it, regardless of the final form. I "get" that you did this particular truck as a design/fabrication exercise to showcase your shops work, and I think you have accomplished that goal. A lot of your countrymen seem to share the same kinds of skills you have, from some of the other projects we have seen in the past. You must have a lengthy apprentice program where you hone these skills under the guidance of some very talented teachers. Don
Wow! So this means we here in the States might be able to buy a complete rod for a really reasonable price at IKEA before too long! Of course, you would still have to put it together yourself, like everything else from IKEA... LOL, I'm just ribbing ya, man. You, sir, are one TALENTED Swedish dude. Like, a MILLION times more talented than that chef on the Muppets, and HE was relatively famous, so you're going to go VERY far! On the down-side, you've accomplished THIS at the age of 20, so we're all going to have pretty high expectations of you over the coming years. I don't think you'll let anyone down though. Simply amazing.
Thank you all for amazing comments! Here's another update from this evening! The bed is comming together, back courners need to be done tomorow afternoon! sleepytime in Sweden!
Can't let this thread get buried back on page 23. Just too damn impressive. On the other side of things, I personally wouldn't want that much talent. As it is, I look at an old 1961 Jag E-type and think, "Damn, I'd love to own that car someday..." If I had talent like that, the awe would go away, because I would be saying "How much? **** that. I can make my OWN E-type out of aluminum... I'll do it next week."
Hi again guys! I haven't made any updates becouse I didn't have the time! But the body is very close to finnish, and last weekend I showed it at Elmia Car Show here in Sweden! So here's some pictures at the truck: The Interiour I made for it: Here I'am, showing the tools: Back in the Shop: My new front tank: Thats all for now! Hope you enjoy it!!
Had more to show! Also, this is going to be my Shop Truck, so here's the look im going to go with: /Robin
I don't want to make light of your spelling, as I know English is a hard language to learn, but I had to smile when I read that "the body is close to finnish", since Sweden borders Finland. REALLY NICE WORK!! I'm three times your age, and have less than a third of your skills. I'm so jealous.
Sorry guys, longtime iv'e been here last! Now it's all ready for the streets! Are gin on some meets to show it also here in Sweden! Hope you still like it! /Robin
