Some pics from the Rock and Rod show today. There was a smaller turnout than last year but we still had a good time. It's also free to enter your car so it's hard to complain.
Mike those are some good shots. And yes it got so hot about three I left think it got to 111 Today. What Was cool we had about 20 cars there from our club. JOHN
You arent kidding! Ricks truck is awesome, that guy builds top notch stuff and you wont meet a nicer guy.
That's Jimmy Shine's truck.... Right..? Or am I mistakin'..? Did he paint the wheels and gastank..? Or did he sell the car..?
That's not Shine's truck ! I thought so for the first moment too but closer inspection shows some differences. One of the parts Jimmy is mostly proud of is the s-shaped body panel where the frame meets the lower cowl.Look at this one.Beside that there some other differences too. It's a clone.Well done by the way and I like it a lot !!! And thanks for the pics !
Hey Muttley, does Tracy ever post on here? Tracy is my wife's (distant) cousin, and we see him at family reunions. He took me for a ride in his car last time we saw him, and it was a blast. Gotta love a light coupe with a hemi! Rob
If he does I'm not aware of it, he may be a lurker. I've only talked to him a couple of times, he's a friend of some of the guys I know. Seems like a pretty nice guy and that car rules.
Not a bad show, at least by Fresno show standards. It was cool hanging out with everyone and meeting some new people from the local crowd. I took some more pics that I was going to post, but my computer ****s right now. Doesn't really matter anyway, they were mostly of the same bunch of cars. I didn't much feel like wandering around in the sun with my camera either. I guess if you want to see twenty Cobra clones or find out what it looks like when you run your door handles at the bottom of your door, you'll just have to use your imagination.
And I thought all Fresno had was farms. Who knew there are some wicked cars there. If I'd have known, I'd have conned my uncle into taking his primered 3 window out. RRR
Hey Brian, if you get the computer going again post some pics of the interior of the green coupe, I didnt take any.
Neat-O! I love how the original Model A grille is quickly replacing the '32 shell. Seeing it everywhere and it looks great. thanks for the post.
