car looks great man. really like the style of it. throw an introduction out in the intro forum. people are going to bitch at you lol. either way cool ride. welcome to the hamb
Cragars and thin whites are a natural on Impala's. Looks great! Hop over to the introduction forum and say a word or two so we know who you are and some details on your car. Welcome. EDIT: GG beat me to it. Tony
Im going to lower the front about an inch 1" to 1,1/2" and see from there. Thanks, oh and i threw out and introduction, sorry.
Bitchin ride man. My first car was a 64 Impala. You can lower it all you want and still rides like a dream. The cross member in mine would break the reflectors on the highway. Wouldn't suggest going that far though. Ground all the way through to the brake line that rest behind the front lip of the crossmember and almost bought a BMW the hard way. Thank god for the E-brake. Welcome.
I cruise this website every day. Hardly ever comment. This car is the shite! That is a really clean car. It is inspiring.<O</O
One of my favorite cars and yours looks great. Nice choice of wheels and tires. A friend of mine car a '64 Impala that had been converted to a 700R trans. The car was lowered, but the trans pan caught everything, so he raised it back up. I think it looks perfect the way it sits.
I thought i would add some more pics. The interior needs a little dusting since there was a dust storm yesterday.
I work with tinman and he has been steering me in the right direction on this build. he actually sent me the add on the rims for sale.
I'm old enough to remember when only bicycles had rims, cars had wheels, and Cragars were called mags...
now that takes me back to the early 70s All you have to do now is add some dingle balls, rabbit ears, and the "love machine" script on the windows.
Very sharp car and I love the Cragars on there. I have a soft spot for 64 Chevies, I had an Impala Convertible that I really liked. Welcome to the forum. Don PS, I think it sits just right now.
Thanks guys im really happy with the cragars, im glad everyone likes them . Ill see how it does in the 113 degree heat tomorow. It had steel rims with ss hubcaps before, i guess i should put up a before pic.
Nice six fo! I'd leave it just like it sits. The homie lowrider thing should be left back in the 90's where it belongs and people are starting to over do the Bellflower custom look.
