Hey ya Meatball, Yeah I bought it from Groucho several months ago and enjoyed driving it. My first Corvette. I experienced it. Not really my cup of tea so I'll sell it and put a roof on my house and finish my G***er.

Hey ya Rick, yeah the Ins. Co. is being picky so I might need to pay for part of my roof. They won't cover all of it. So what are ya going to do? Maybe I'll get my Nomad going too.

I feel your pain. I got to put a new roof on my house too and it's going to be out of pocket.

Do your homework if the roof is going to be shingled again. There was a huge batch of junk asphalt shingles going around the last few years. I believe CertainTeed had some major issues.

You got a polisher lined up? If not, I got a number to a great guy in Santa Fe Springs.

I think that I'm just going to let my roof be for awhile and let the ins. comp. just fix it and finish my G***er NOW !!! I have a neighbor who has had a blue tarp on his roof for 7 years. Opinions? Input? Ideas?

Ok?, good workmanship is never to far away. By the way, how many miles is to Ventura from your house?

Not sure if it went by a differant name before. The place I'm refering to has been around for years as well. All the work was done by Ol Man Gonzalo back in the day and is now done by his Son. The shops name is G.E. Antique Creations

Ordered my headliner today, bought some door rubber, talked to a guy about installing my headliner and carpet. Gonna put wood up over the rear seat area, covered with carpet.

Anymore pics of your 57 nomad? There was a black 57 nomad with flames cruisin around simi for a long time but disappeared recently, wonder if the dude is ok.

That black Nomad belonged to Walt, a famous pinstriper. He was recently inducted into the Pinstriping hall of fame. Walt recently died and his car went to his son and is in Big Bear. I had just talked to Walt a couple days before.
