    Hello,

Anyone know if a post-59 GM pump will work on 59 394 Olds?

    Thanks,

I believe any 394 pump will work.

It should.. every 394 fuel pump I ever saw looked the same. Look it up at a parts site like NAPA or Rock Auto.

I think the pumps changed in 63 or 64 so any from 62 on back to 48 should work.

Thanks for all the feedback! I was curious if a later / more common GM pump would bolt up and work on the 394.

If you can't find an original pump, why not use an electric external pump with a pressure regulator?

I tried later pumps but none I tried worked,I would get rebuilts from the swapmeets but they would only last a short time,it had a electric pump mounted close to the tank.
