Ohio VSRA nationals

Thinking about attending the Ohio VSRA Nationals in Medina Ohio this weekend and was wondering if any HAMBers attended last years event and how was it. It's a 6 hour round trip for me and really didn't want to do all that driving if the show ****ed.

I went last year..the morning started out rather ok here at home with some sun, then we went up to the grounds and it got cloudy and rainy and we all froze our ****s off. It was a first year event along with the cool weather..I wouldn't have been happy to drive 6 hours for what was there. Tonight here on thursday they closed off part of medina square for a car cruise for the members..my wife just came home that way and said maybe 60 cars there. I have no idea how many are registered this year, is supposed to be nice on saturday weatherwise.

 

what's the VSRA?

 

Man, Medina used to be one of the coolest shows. The year they shut it down there was a steam engine that exploded into the crowd, awful.

there were about 180 cars registered yesterday and about 200 by 11am today.
