Last week we cleaned up the shop real nice to have an Branchville Injectors open house on Sunday, We had a great turnout and it seems like everyone had a great time, I know I did. Enjoy the pictures.
Tim as usual great job, thanks for the time you put into it, the Weekend was great and it was it was nice to meet some fellow Hambers up at the barn......it was graet to meet Bruce Lancaster who I think has been a huge resource to the Hamb, Flatdog brought his 12 second flathead coupe up as well. Again thanks to all that put the effort in. Joe
Some very cool cars. Thanks for the pics. Any more of the RPU? I really dig it. I had seen a picture of it a couple of years ago, and then never saw it again.
This may have been the highest quality hotrod show I've ever seen--both the native cars in the buildings and the visiting cars were superb examples of traditional rods. Work in progress in the barn was laid out in tableux of early rod parts, things like brakes and axles arranged neatly like shop manual exploded views! Gl*** cases contained every rod part, toy, early magazine, and art work I've ever dreamed of--the total effect was almost as if something like my apocalyptic garage had been cleaned and arranged by trained industrial archaeologists supervised by Martha Stewart. The row of rods silhouetted against the skline was a work of art in itself, and little sub-collections of neat old stuff were everywhere--a well-used Model A pickup, for instance, was actually a rolling museum of agricultural advertising tin. Anybody have more pics?? This post so far shows about 1/5 of the really neat cars!
SOMEBODY out there has more pics, dammit! There were about 20 more fantastic cars there...even a mildly modified curved dash Olds! The blue roadster pickup in the barn was really something...I get my pictures back today, but have no idea of how to post them--pop rivet them to the monitor, perhaps??
Thanks to the Injectors I had a great time too.Bruce it was cool to finally meet you in person and I agree we need to see more pics. Are you out there Tim or Joe? Louie
I have a group of pictures but I don't know how to shrink them, any websites I could easily send them to to post them up? Joe
Show'em a picture of the custom intake "manifold" on that Olds--it'll be the oldest application speed part ever seen on here! Also maybe the first time in the history of the universe a "T" carb has been used as an upgrade...
