anybody know the interchange on these old MoPars? I've got a 48 Coupe w/ no dash & a chance to buy a complete 41 dash for $80 (that was a counter offer to my $50). I've got a 47 Dodge dash that I'm pretty sure would fit, but would like to know if the earlier one fits. I didn't take the 48 dash out, it was that way when I got it. Those are MUCH cooler than the other ones I have to put in. any help would be appreciated!

i would say for 80 bucks buy iy. you can always re sell it.also ask on the p15-d24 forum

  3. IIRC 41-48 are the same basic body shell, so the dash should fit. If not, it should be close enough to blend easy at the sides.

  6. I have a `42, which was the same as the `41, except for first year covered running boards...after the war, `46-early`49 were carryovers from pre-war `42 . Basic body the same, so yeah, it'll fit.

Thanks for the help guys. I knew there'd be some MoPar guys on here somewhere. I actually love the way the 48 Ply dash looks, but don't have one. I have a nice, but empty coupe body shell w/ fenders & a (rough)hood, & a bare frame. But, I have a very rough 47 Dodge coupe w/ all the parts there. Thinking of doing some change over. From what I can tell, the Dodge frame is a little longer, but maybe everything else bolts up? This isn't something I'm presently working on, but you gotta grab parts when they show up. I'll try to get the dash a little cheaper. Thanks again for the help.
