Well, I've got a rental car, two days off in Davenport, IA, and I'm going stir-crazy. Are there any old yards, swap meets, or other HAMB-friendly activities within a few-hour drive of the Quad-Cities? I wouldn't mind coming home with a few 'interesting' parts for the projects...

I drove by the Marriot in Cedar Rapids tonite, there were quite a few cool cars already at the Hotel. If ya got up super early, you could drive all the way to Minneapolis/St. Paul for the Back to the 50's show. Be quite a haul, though. FastLane Rod Shop is in Donahue, IA, about 20 minutes from Davenport.
