my 65 fairlane a/fx straight axle build

Wayne;seems fair,out here in La La Land decent paint jobs START at $10,000 at the better shops!!!!! ROY.

 

Oh okay this Is a small rural area they guy who's painting it dose a lot of street rods and dose a really good job

 

Went ahead and cut the front fender I was scared if the front end lifts it might come down on the tires seeing how the are moved 4 inches forward

 

Just read through your thread-can't wait to see the finished paint!

It matches my other '64 almost.

Wayne;I was at last years Reunion,went to the semi-finals in A/FX.I am entered in this years CHRR in A/FX,Oct.18-21. ROY.

 

I thought I saw u in the video ....hey quick question would my car run af/x or what cl*** would I run

 

Wayne;go to You Tube,type in CHRR 2011,there are two videos of my Comet,one is from a Qualifying p*** against Dale Snoke,the other is of my three runs!! We run an A/FX cl*** out here,as the promoters only use one cl*** designation.On the East Coast and Central US circuits they run Nostalgia Super Stock and A/FX is a cl*** designation a****st their rules.I do not think you would be legal to run as I believe Fords have to run a FE based engine,no small blocks or 385 series combos. ROY.

 

I checked the vids ... WOW ... I'll see if I can get my '64 fairlane "worked" for this but not sure I'm right in the mix of completing an 25.4 tube ch***is '64 fairlane.

Hey Roy sorry I was trying to make another post and sent it as a report on you by mistake ..lol. I was trying to tell u that I bought a brand new hilborn stack injection unit for my lane .I got if for 3800 with everything pump, lines, byp***es ,filters, shut off and a box of different sizes pills (jets). They say it is built and flow tested for my engine combination , but u know how that gose lol . My question to u is have u ever tuned one of these , Maby a few pointers.
