Hello! I've been lurkin here for a while now and it's about time I joined. I'm building a T bucket ch***ied something. It's a kit from speedway but I designed my own cab. Kinda looks like a lakester coupe of some kind. Please have a gander at the pics and I hope you enjoy as much as I have building it so far. I've got a long long way to go. It's my first and I need to do a lot of homework before every move...I'm not a welder or engine guy but I know some basics. I was just feelin brave when I started this and just jumped in head first!!

Thanks for the welcomes. I will do my best to keep on the project and make progress. I forgot to mention that this car was inspired by the "Red Baron" from the late 60's. That will explain the helmet looking body. Thrown in there also is another favorite of mine, the Miller "Golden Submarine".....and Ralph Shenk's Streamliner...

Very cool and a little different, and THAT is what is so great.. maybe find a running car that has a good running gear and you can take the parts off as needed and s**** the rest.

Thanks for the input and I'm glad you guys find it cool! I think that is part of the spirit of this great hobby is creating your own thing. That's a good idea about getting a running donor car since it's my first build. I'll post progress as I scoot this one along...
