Well after coming home from Billetproof in Ocala probably on the ride home one of my exhaust valves was finally cooked! I still drove it for another 2 months:D popping away out my dual exhaust. So, a closer look proves it's time to tear it down and freshen it up. It looked good when I put the new head on in January. I got a question does anyone know of any chevy valves that could work in a 218 flathead motor. I do know that the length is critical.

Check in over at the P15-D24 site http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/index.php?referrerid=1152 there are a couple of guys over there that have small block Chevy valves in their Mopar flatheads, but I'm not sure which ones they used or what if anything they did to the seats. You are lucky that the Mopar valve seats are already hardened from the factory so there is not need for new valve seats unless yours are just so far gone that they can't be saved.
