Can someone measure the tail lights and reverse lights on their 55 for me? I know it's a weird question, but I'm travelling and won't see my girl for two weeks. Need to buy parts and forgot to measure! I need to know the base width to see what else fits.
If you don't know by daylight tomorrow I'll measure mine for you. I don't think Tri Chevy works because 55 Pontiac is round and I don't recall Tri chevy stuff being round. I dunno, it's late.......give me til the am! xxx Brandy
Man, I feel your pain....used to hate it when I would be away from my lady... I would go out and measure mine for ya, but they're on my car, at my other house....sorry oh yeah...that's right, some of the pontiac wagons had the same lenses as the chevys, I think he's askin about a regular sedan though, right?
I think he's askin about the car he just bought........which if thats right then they should be round. Brake lights are 4inx4in Backups are 2inx2in I just measured dead center from one side to the other to get that. xxx Brandy

The tail light lenses measure 4-1/4 inches across where they fit into the tail light housing and the back-up lenses measure 2-7/8 inches across where they fit in the back-up light housing.This is on the 55 Pontiac Starchief sedan.Hope this helps,mine were off the car.
