I've been to your garage. I know what you do. You don't fool me fella.
Ok, anyone have that part I asked for ? Maybe I'll put it in the wanted section.

It is looking really good. Save me the left over pieces after you cut it.

Duke, When I get done with everything I will be putting my extra pieces in the cl***ified section. I have more stuff that will be left over from another top I got along time ago. Not a complete top mind you just a bunch of stuff. Some I will be using here and some not. I am not to the point of knowing what will be left.

Worked on the p***enger side 1/4 patch today until it got too hot on my back. I am doing this work under my carport today and not in the shop. The sun was starting to beat down on me pretty heavy by 3:30. It's a 103* today here in Tucson. So I decided to call it a day. I'm not complaining at all. Here is a couple pic of the mess I started with and how it ended up. I still need to finish the mess in the wheelwell area tomorow. This is just roughed in for the time being.

Man, Been awhile since I felt like I could update anything substantial here on the old forum.
News Flash!!!! It's chopped like a MAN would do it!!!!!! No wussy restorers or resto rodders need respond. Big time hammer job folks. Huge thanks to my good friend Kirk Ward here in Tucson, Az. He went way above the call of hotrod duty to help me do this. It would have never happened if he did not step up to the challenge of trying to do this chop. It turned out just like I wanted it. I still have a bunch of finish work both outside and in to do but I am well on my way to the Bonneville chop that I have wanted for so long. I am really thrilled and really appreciative of my good friend Kirk. He is a long time hotrodder here in Tucson and has built a whole lot of hotrods in his life. I will never catch up to his count. Here is some pictures of it on the trailer coming home from his shop and a few of it in mine after a lil' bit of metal finish work. Still have a lot of stuff to do yet to make it pretty so don't judge too harshly. The quest continues! Cheers!!!

Chris, My friend. It's a mere 5 1/2 on a good night. Huge props go out to my friend Ken at the Rolling Bones Hotrod Shop for detail pics of the **** Deluna fiver coupe chop. It was good reference for the chop. The quest continues. I have to check out now. I'll be back.

Good on you Dale, glad to see you stuck to your guns. Nothin better than a slammed 33/34 coupe.
