Stolen truck - Phoenix AZ

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hotrodnailhead, Jun 27, 2012.

  1. I just learned that a guy I work with had his truck stolen from the parking lot at Honeywell on 36th street and Washington.

    Its a 55 ford f100 primer black.

running boards covered with bed liner.

The bed rails are teardrops (not round rolled) and he made it himself.

It has '49 ford (car) tail lights frenched in the roll pan, and one '49 tailight frenched under the rear window.

the grill is assembled with SS screws where the spotwelds were drilled out.

Front suspension is basically stock with reversed eye springs and disc brakes.

    The transmission shifts backwards.

If you see it, call the fuzz.

    Thanks.

Wow! not far from me. I'll be on the lookout.

  5. Thanks guys.

The perps were recorded on video cameras and could be followed, with the cameras on the light rail, all the way to 40th street, where they turned.

I'm waiting to get a description of the truck they were using to "rope-tow" it.

That truck looks like a first cousin to mine. Every time I park it, somebody's lookin'...

My Chocolate lab has a distinct way of 'talking', so when she says 'Somebody's out there', I listen.
Just 16 front & 9 rear axles to move from #2 driveway to get cars inside my main gate!

I've caught 2 different ass hats trying to steal it so far, both in San Jose. Both were real sorry...

I hope they find the truck, and catch those scum bags! I'll say a prayer for him, it can't hurt!

I still cannot believe they stole it by flat towing it away!

  26. There is a crack-team of rent-a-security guards that tour the parking lot too!

Still waiting on pictures of the tow vehicle, but the description is "a small white truck with a camper shell".

I use to work at that location back in the 90's...alot of tires and cars where getting stolen out of the lots...mine included...guess what? It was the rented security guards doing it with some outside help...maybe there looking the other way when its going on...just my 2 cents worth from long distance...

  28. Let's see... $8.50 and hour, no bennies, no till to clip some $$ out of. Gotta make your own perks sometimes.

Every friend whose ride got ripped found it to have been left in S. Phx. somewhere.
I wanna say ditto but it's been a while.

Just remember guys, it was four days from the theft of the Blakes panel truck until I found it.
