    '53 chevy sedan - 216 w/ a 3 speed

how the ef is the thing bolted to the x member?! Its so gumed up and greasy down there I cant see ****. And I'm trying to un bolt this in a parking lot basicaly which ain't helping much. There are 2 holes in the bottom of the x member, but I can't feel a nut in there anywhere. Anyone know where I can find some kind of detailed pic of the ***embly that might help me out? Or anyone know what size nut and where the heck they are?

    Thanks

Bolts thru the cross member. 5/8's are the other one 11/16's.Only been 52 years since I pulled a 54 Chevy trans. Be sure you have some of the tension off the rear end and torque tube. It can come down like a bomb. sk me how I know.
