What a drag for you guys! Hey the BILLET PROOF BOAT SHOW! Kinda catchy.

 

Went and home....rain rain and more rain...but it was cool!

 

Ya, heard from a couple people. They packed it in.

 

We had a good time, but man was it ever wet.

It was a good time with friends. I went through a drive through coffee house on my way out of Kelso and caught one of my laker pipes on the curbing and ripped the back bracket off the car so I had to go back home and jack it up and pull the laker pipe off. It destroyed the pipe but thank god no damage to the car. I went lop sided with only one laker pipe. Good thing you can't look at both sides of the car at the same time.

 

We had a great time, it wasn't raining yesterday during the show, it was pouring! Pretty much all day.
I was actually pretty impressed with the turnout considered the weather. For those that stuck around for the cruise, the weather had broke and was completely dry.

We had a blast, and while not being out of control by any means I did get blue lighted for going a whopping 33 in a 25 in my banger. Cop was real nice though. I thought everything was great.

Glad the weather finally broke. I have been to Billetproof in all ranges of wx: the 95 degree blazing sun, and in the 60 deg and drizzling ugh. You're going to have to watch it if you ever add 4 more cylinders to that A...get you in real trouble with smokey.

 

It wasn't one of those bikini barista places, was it? That might explain why you dragged pipe on the curb.

 

No bikinies but all the ladies are pretty hot. I go thru there every day so it was just my stupidity. I pulled a little closer to the window so the girl wouldn't have to lean out in the pouring down rain. Oh well it is a fixible thing buy a new laker pipe and install it.

 

What ! you didn't have a spare in the tool box ? Shame on you ! Sorry you guys had problems... remember drinking never solves anything, but it makes it hurt alot less.. hope your back on the road soon !

 

I was a little bummed that it rained ALL freakin' day! Sheesh! But, I met lots of great people and a bunch of fellow HAMBers which made it much better! The cruise on the other hand, was awesome! Lots of great people and I didn't even get my ass kicked being from California! To quote Arnold... "I'll be back"!

 

Trust me, anyone from out of the state or country, that can put up with our June Gloom and show their car is more then welcome. Your ride was a welcome sight sitting across for the Oly club last night.

 

Ya the weather sucked, but attending with my grandson and his daily driver (52 chevy 5 widow) we just finished for his 16th, priceless.

Best time ever for a rainy day show. We did not let it bother us. Lots of covered parking. We had a great day. We will be back next year. ugotpk
