Took her for a long drive tonight. Solved the bad running problem earlier this week. Lots of debris in the tank. When i losened the fuel line hose, a lot of black mess ran out. Also made an art deco hot air pipe or "rain collector" and suddenly the ice on intake disapeared. Maybe the carbon will disapeare too with the water injection...

When you get all the bugs worked out, how about some more pics of the roadster out being driven? Have someone take pics from another car with the Swedish countryside in the background...looking GREAT!!

After a longer run tonight, I could not understand why all the neighbors would grill at the same time, but it was just my car that caught fire... The exhaust pipe is too close to the body wood and even though I wrapped the tube with heat protection it smelled burning cedar tree och whatever Ford used. Must be rebuilt..

Did the whole car burn? or just the floor?

Man...that's cool. This is the type of car my grandfather would tell me about when I was a kid. He'd say, "Yeah, they'd really go...you'd be surprised."

Sorry about the mishap. You didn't mean the whole car needs rebuilding, did you? Just the roasted wood, right?

No, luckily it was just a part of the body wood closest to the exhaust pipe about six inches
    so it's an easy fix.

Well i now understand that the headers wrap was'nt enough, because the body wood took fire, so i had to redirect the exhaust tube. Now it avoids the fuel line, body wood, floor panel, an eventually over filled and dripping gas tank and it's a perfect holder for the new 2" copper exhaust tube...

I put a decibel insert in the exhaust tube and now it sounds just right. Video will come soon..

  21. I like the steering - my stock T was scary approaching 40mph...
Is it a Texas T parts distributor conversion? I had trouble with the drive nut/skew gear coming undone a few times which caused rough running. Loctite cured it.

Yes the distributor is from TTP. Working great so far.

Well, actually i like a bench seat more then two seats, but i saw some really nice ideas here on the HAMB, so i start looking for some couch ideas, from real leather sofas.
Found a nice sofa far from here on the swedish Graigs list.. so i decided to make an offer. Hey -i pay Your price, but i just want the cushions.. that's ok?
Today they arrived and was soon tested in the little T. Now i sit very comfortable with my head under the top edge of the windshield. Real leather and nice worn. Not black nor brown.. more like ... used.
I still have to lower the steering column.. if i frontal crashes i will have the horn button right in my forehead...
General Gow.. i'm glad You did a build thread..Thanks!

Hopefully the snow will disappear soon, so i can take her out for a ride in the chilly evening.
Sitting deep in the cockpit, with cold slipstream in the face and warm air coming up through the floor boards, from the roaring engine... ;-)
