No money in smoking and it'll lead to an early grave but I still do it!
Besides those people with the pastel resto rods love seeing charactures of their own cars!

"No money in it"??? Not sure how long each takes but even if they take one hour and you "get" $10.......

$10 will put alittle over 4 gallons of fuel in your tank which will give you 120 cruzn miles........

$10 will buy you dinner tomorrow nite.........

$10 will buy you a whole handful of nuts and bolts......

$10 will buy you over 50 bottles of water at a local discount chain......

$10 with no taxes taken out is like $12.25 - $13.00 at a real job depending on your tax bracket.

I really, really want one done of Big Olds and will gladly pay whatever your going rate is...and since your over sometimes you'll be able to see the drawing hanging on the wall next to a couple of others I have from "famous" artists:D

First off, what V-8/V-6/I-6 gets 30mpg? And where can you get 4 gallons of decent fuel for $10? I want what you're driving!

You don't want what she's drivin' you want what the hacks got. I bet that engine could run well on peanut oil.

Also if it take him an hour each and the cruise is going to be 12 hours long that means he could potentialy do $120 worth of business...but realistacly we'll say 8 'cause I'm sure I'll have to go bug him for a while.

Good call my friend. But, the Peter Beater's Flathead/5 speed combo is good for an average 32 miles per gallon. And, it hauls ***!

Ooh, yeah. I'm planning on putting a T5 behind my 235. Don't know if 32mpg is feesible, though.

  13. You need to have faith in yourself Hack- thats 50 percent of the battle.

    I like your renderings.

RF-[and others:) ] Here in the midwest there are families with one earner making 12 dollars an hour- that can make it on that alone......land at the current high of 20 yrs is 1500-3000 dollars an acre-
A new QUALITY built 4 bedroom home with two large garages/a new horse barn and a lake on 15 acres sold here in my town for an all time record price of 168 thousand dollars!
Gas here is 2.03 per gal and a decent meal at a steak house=a steak and salad/food bar/desert and drink is 10.95!!
    sales tax is 5.6 %-
Cali is great too, but the Midwest is not too damned bad in a lot of ways.....

This post should be rated high! Maybe it's a GMB thing I dunno.
And I paid 2.19 for gas today and was a li'l pissed when I drove two blocks and saw it for $2.05?

And Denise I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with a shapie fetish...I'm the sharpie provider here at the ole cube farm. Not so sure about reaming someone with paper though.
