Trunk Cable "WITH" LOCK (from Ford Van)

    I saw this online -- Lots of guys want to run a trunk Cable but the usual problem is hiding it from *******s who want to open trunk and steel your stuff---

    This photo is of a locking HOOD Cable of a Ford Econoline Van , but thought it would be cool to use it for trunk cable with the lock for us fabricating trunk locks.

    i have one with a key from a 79 f100 ranger i parted out a few years ago... send me a email if you still need one.

    Ford used them on pickups also from the 70's thru the 80's

  10. I find these locking hood releases all the time in the junkyard. The trick is to find a car that still has the keys in it. I've found them in everything from Ford trucks to T-Birds to Granadas to LTDs. I'd just check any Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles from the 70s you might find.

    I have a few rat holed away waiting for a "someday" project vehicle that I don't have yet..........E

    i have taken a few off of cars, and can remember them being sold as a hood lock kit.
