I have one too! Pretty good old California car. Very old repaint in decent shape. I bought it stock as a stove in 2003. As soon as I got it home I pulled off the skirts and spinner hub caps. The original 352 4V ran okay but it had blow-by so I plugged in a warmed up 63 Mercury 390. 427 exhaust manifolds and a full 2-1/2" exhaust system. 3.50 posi. Added polished Torque Thrusts and dropped the front end a little. Redid the interior in a similar pattern to original but with soft modern fabrics. It goes to the track a few times a year. In the pic you can see my daughter "working it" on a Sunday. The 9.49 on the window is the 1/8 mile time, equals about a 14.80 1/4 mile.

You rarely have to worry about parking next to another one when you own a '60 Edsel!

Wow, that secret stash is like finding someones **** collection. Only it's weird ****,.... its kinda cool but there's something just a little bit off about it.

Did you get that steering sorted out?

  11. '60 Edsel grille bears a strong resemblance to a '59 Pontiac. For that matter, so do the headlight grilles on an Econoline van if you put them close together.

Oh Man! Nice car for sure! Nice work too. 2 Dr Sedans are my favorite of course. I'll be doing about the same thing to mine. Already have done most of the susp. and brakes. My tired 394 still runs like a clock so i get to drive it till i get my new 394 built. I can relate to your cleaning set up too. Thanks for sharing.

That's exciting, swinging in a fresh engine. We always joke around at that point and say, "Now all that's left to do is everything."
