I first went 34 years ago, but I've missed a few years in between. We used to have a pretty big group that camped together in the old campground. We partied hard at night. Now I usually go by myself or sometimes with my GF. The last few years, the heat has almost been too much. "Almost," heh, heh.

I never thought about it until I saw this thread. I will most likely miss it. It will be the 5th straight year I missed. I went 1980 til 2007 without missing a year.

Used to look forward to it every year but don't even think about it anymore. I don't even do the local shows anymore. Maybe next year, i'm starting to recover from the economy crash, so maybe i'll get my interest back. Hate going to shows without much money in the pockets.

Anyways has anything changed in the last 5 years up there? I know my favorite seller below the back hill isn't with us anymore. Rip Freddy. You are missed. He used to haul anything big back home for me that i brought up there so I could cruise one of my toys up there

 

Been going for 31 years. Be there Thurs. trying to sell my 26-T roadster & selling parts. Swap space alone hwy 161 by the fence. A machinist & I made some adapters to put a C4 OR AOD behind your 49 - 53 Flathead, 250 bucks. We also took some GM Accel dual point dist. & made them fit 19 - 53 motors, 150 bucks.

 

Pretty close for you, Old Spoke. You're not to far from me.

I should be up there Thursday to Saturday. I have been going since 1980.

 

Plan to be dare. Campin' out wit da boyz from da Boondockers.

 

I'll be there in the campground as always....

We have a 2x3 spot on the tracker stop.... J/K 18-20 if I remember correctly. We all drive cl***ics.. hopefully will be driving the 36 roadster

My brother Mark and I will be there on Thursday. I will probably have my '35 in the "modified" parking lot just below the swap area, gate 5

 

I'ii be there, my seventh year. Just hope the weather is our side. Don't forget to eat and watch the pancake show.

 

I'll be there Thursday and Friday with my favorite brother in law Lawrence at AE-40 with chairs for resting and a bottle of cold water. Stop by and shake my hand. Look for my Poverty Flats banner created by my pal Chaddilac.

 

I'll be there late Wednesday - Friday afternoon in swap spots G-12 & 13.

I always have cold drinks and plenty of seating.

BTW...I'm looking for a '34 Chevy 3 window trunk lid so if you see one let me know.
