This is Bob Ashton aka AutoRama Bob. I am in need of good quality digital pics of some of the fine Pinstripers that have participated in any of our Charity events. If you have any "action" shots or neat pics of stripers having some fun at Detroit, Grand Rapids, Cincinatti, Houston, Kansas City or any of our other AutoRama or World of Wheels shows please e-mail them to me bashton@autorama.com. We are putting together a press release for the media so that these folks can get some of the recognition they deserve.

On a side note...AutoRama Extreme 2006 planning is well under way. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, hit me with them...I DO LISTEN!

    Thanks!

All the Pinstripers I talked to had an Excellent time at Autorama, helped
raise a bunch of money for a good cause, and look forward to next year.

A few suggestions, since you asked,in no particular order:

1- Put the Rice Rockets and shiney latemodel stuff back up stairs
where they belong. After last years success,it shouldn't be too difficult to fill the ba*****t with traditional hot rods, customs, and Rat Rods.
EVERYBODY was talking about the ba*****t.

2- Find a closer spot for the Exhibitors lounge.
The year before was perfect, this past year was like going on Safari.
And paying Show Prices for warm drinks and cold hot dogs gets old fast,
especially when you are there for 3 days, and can't bring a cooler.

3- Post your message on the Bulletin boards on: www.autoartmagazine.com and www.pinstriper.com

Thanks for putting together a great event, hope to see you next year.

Hi Bob, how's it going? I have quite a few from the Detroit show 2003 in very high resolution. I could either email them or throw them on a disk and snail mail them. Whichever is easiest for you. Or perhaps if your going to be in L'ville next weekend I can just personally hand you the disk......and of course cop a hug.;) :D

    That'll work Denise!

THANKS to all who responded...got some great shots that should do the trick. I will be in Louisville this w/e, so if anyone is planning on stepping inside to cool off for a bit, look me up. We will have a Championship Auto Shows/ISCA booth in there somewhere!

I'll dig through the pics I took. I know I have a couple of the panel jam I could Email.

*EDIT* Nevermind... the 2 I have are horrible. Sorry.

I agree with the good Unkl... put the ricers and their damn stereos upstairs with all the other noise. It took a lot of restraint to not stick something sharp into a subwoofer or 20.

I loved the show. Made the 5 hour drive from NW Indiana. Will go again next year!

Thanks Again to all who responded; got some GREAT shots! The meetings went well and we should be getting some Press for the 2006 Pinstriper Jams soon.

ALSO...check out the new #12 issue of Ol Skool Rodz; it has awesome coverage of detroit with loads of pics. Hell...they even have a nice color shot of the H.A.M.B. "Meet & Greet" sign.

If you moved the ricers upstairs, would you move the Pinstriping Village to the ba*****t? Maybe group more of the traditional stuff together? I believe there was talk of a Roth tribute? Maybe all that cool stuff should be put on the first floor, and give the ricers the ba*****t. What about vending in the ba*****t? Nevermind, I'm sure you guys have it figured out.
