[/url][/IMG] Can somebody tell me what the connection is in the red circle? One of my carbs has this port open, one is plugged and another doesn't have this port at all. Since it's in the main body I'm thinking possibly for a fuel pressure gauge?
as others have said, this a vacuum advance source used only for Ford "Loadamatic" distributors (1949-1957). If you have stock distrubutor, you must use it or vacuum advance won't work. If you are not running the stock distributor, use manifold vacuum and plug it.
Can somebody tell me what fitting to use to plug this? I got one that was the same size but the threads didn't fit. Please help save some hair, I've already pulled out too much.
