would have to be.. theres no other point.. ya wouldnt want em to just be there? I almost bought a 455 powered mgb.. there was no room up front for the radiator even with the firewall bashed back. so judging by the velocity stacks the motor was in a normal spot.. thus requiring a radiator in the back.. man i wanna do an obsurdly large engine in a itty bitty car... just for kicks...
I remember being awoken by my dad early one dark and foggy English morning when I was a young lad and the Megalomania was on a trailer behind my older brother ED's jag. That was my first sight of any kind of drag car and that started it all for me !! I believe ED was friends or worked for SS Motors in Mitcham, Surrey. I will never forget that moment and PLEASE REBUILD HER
Yes he did,Please remember that this was England and we did not have Drag cars then ,It was a new sport to us !! We had no were to run until Santa Pod opened.Guys, you are lucky to have the long history of hot rods and drag racing that you have, the rest of the world took a LONG time to catch up!
Dont mind Doc, he just likes to talk a lot of shit. ( and unfortunately, not much good positive content to make up for that..) This is a piece of early UK Dragracing History. I agree with you, it should be saved by somebody who appriciates it.

I should have read to the end of the thread first and realized that I was replying to a 2-year-old post. If I had, I would have realized that you have restored this brute and have done a damn nice job on it too! 'THUMBS UP' on it! =========

Well looking for the last item I need I can not find the attached decal for champion Spark Plugs. Has anyone seen one or have a hi rez shot I can reproduce. Even Champion has nothing...
The Megalomania MGB Gasser will be up for auction the 17th at Bonhams in Scottsdale. Hopefully it can find a way back home.
