In an article on the Jalopy journal about King Shifters, there was a reference to a method to modify the 2nd. Gear Synchro. Does any body now if there is any information about this. Thank you in advance. Roger
never heard of it so I am clueless. Maybe some of the other fellas with a lot of Laslle and CAd experieince will chime in.
If it was that damned ****on, I'd be all ears. Guys have replaced it with ones made from different alloys to plastics, but I'm anxious to find out if there was ever a real fix! I have some of those ******s.

I don't know of a rebuild kit, but you can buy the bearings new, and gasket kits are available too. Have a look in the tech archive. I think sychros are the only part you can't get. There's an article that has the part numbers.
