From their trademark listing (now expired): instruments for measuring times of operation and rest for machinery and vehicles.......
I googled "The Servis Recorder Co." As often happens there's an ad on the bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Ind...Recorder-Co-Great-Color-/221022094342#vi-desc Looks like you mount one of those gradiated disc charts in there to record a graph line chart. And here's an ad for a sales brochure from 1937: http://www.adstocollect.com/servlet/the-4855/1937-Ad-The-Service/Detail
Never seen seats that fold into a bed - but seat back will fold back when the seat back frame breaks - whick happens regularly. Cotter pin allows you to remove the seat back..........Good luck with the Woo-Hoo girls....
nice car. you mentioned that 2nd was kaput--that's the gear that always goes out on them. if you can't find a decent used cluster gear, a new one is going to be beaucoup bucks. might be time to consider an alternative!
I just learned something new about these transmissions. Gear sets (1, 2, 3) will interchange between the OD and the non-OD transmissions!
