Is anybody else getting pop ups on here ? Im using Safari on a mac, the pop ups are not loading all the way, just blank screens. L
You've got adware! Macs aren't immune to it. Download and run an anti-spyware program like AdAware or Spybot; if they have a version for mac.
I hae never has a problem with my mac and pop-ups. And never had them on the HAMB. Have you been looking at porn?
I'm on a G5 using Saafari also and the pop ups I just got were unreal! I have no idea why - first time this has happened... As far as the porn... Macs can't get the same viruses and spam issues that PC's have!!! Nice try though!!!
Sounds like your browsers been hi-jacked to me, happend to me too, very , very frustrating. I downloaded BHO Demon 2.0 it works great for me, lets you know everytime an adware program is attempting to re-hi-jack your browser and it gives you an option to decline or allow the "so called Browser help objects" It also gives indication whether BHO is considered benign or malicious. This was a free download, just Google for Browser hijackers to find this one. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll find exact URL listing for you! Good Luck with this dreaded disease Lol!
