    Imagine its the mid 50's......

And you built a little 324 Oldsmobile to go in your hotrod.....But your hardcore....and you want to get one over on the other guy in town, who thinks he's king shit since he got the 6x2's,And been kicking ass......It's time to go looking for him:D!!

Here's a period looking 324 we built, for another one of our great customers...with a set 1955 iron heads,a little camshaft, and built to be RELIABLE and driven ANYWHERE....We dont just build show pieces...They are meant to be used and used hard.

On top a custom built Weber setup, that we crafted up here at Ross Racing Engines.

On this engine (Cause I ran Both) its worth 30 hp and 30 Ft lbs over a tripower setup....

turn the speakers up...hope you enjoy

    Tony

  7. Tony, That motor belongs in that Seret Special Sporty Car, Jive Bomber was talking about, Jalopy Journal home page. Very cool. Can't wait to finish sorting out all the issues with this 60 394, so I can hear it run again. Will never sound like that. Thanks again for all your help.

    I made the manifolds.....

Thats not 440 wire.....Ive put an MSD type setup in this engine

I do have 440 wire on spools though when needed

Manifolds are very nicely done. Are they one off cast or welded, or ???
What type of Webers are they? 40s, 44s or 48S?

Sorry for all the questions. Can't help but feel that those manifolds and carbs will be available for retail sales, no?

Followed your dragster build and the results are fantastic. Have you run it lately?

    Thanks John

    48's

I build these to order for anyone who wants one(as with a lot that we do)

either outright or on an engine combination.

Very soon on the dragster...changing a few things in the engine combimation....been real buisy with customer work.....but please stay tuned on that project....Im going for bigger numbers...Cause thats what we do....Its a disease or an addiction as I tell Dave.

This setup makes 30 hp and 30 ft lbs over the tripower....Im pretty sure If I really thrashed on it I could get closer to 40 over the tripower.

Sweet! That'd be cool in my '54 98! What compression, and hp/tq, or dyno sheet?
