Old time drags/funny car reunion Raceway Park, NJ roll call?

Anyone going????? you can go to a car show any ol' day...but this is my single most favorite day of the year...........

yep...........if i had to pick a single day....it would be this day.

not every day you get to see the winged express run down the track (and if were lucky run down both sides of the track......in 1 run!)

 

Been thinking about it...

 

Rumblers NJ are going. Do u know if there is "special" parking for our cars or do we have to park with the m***es?

 

there is usually a small car show there...just register and park in a group. im sure it wont be a problem. ill be there early if you need me ot take care of anything.

I'll be going no racing for me...I'll take my car down for the show part anyways....

 

Caff,now that god turned down the heat we are gonna go.I run the coupe with NETO sometimes.I am hoping for mid 12s.

Just an FYI so there is no disappointment...

To my knowledge, The Winged Express will NOT be in attendance.

The flyer is incorrect as Jeff Gaynor is NOT coming in from the west coast for an "East vs. West" nitro nostalgia funny car match up.

The Mill Road Boys will be racing Rob Bruce in their nitro floppers.

There should be, from last count, about 14 nostalgia floppers running. Not on display, running.

Joe Jacono from the "Rollin Stoned" Cuda fame, is the Grand Marshall. He will also be match racing Lou Sgro's "Black Magic" Demon.

Bruce L****n will be making p***es also in his "USA 1" Camaro flopper.

It should still be a good show...

 

Although I'm into winged pro mod cars, I may go to see the g***er gnome.
