1930 model a header fitment

i have a wood kit for model a coupe tried to put in the wood kit the side pieces that go into the header seam to stick out on the edges and the body does not **** up all the way ., anyone have pics where this meets up.. am i suppose to sand and make it fit thanks jason

 

Depending on the wood kit, sanding is required on the header to make the side panels fit tight.

 

did you see in the dirrections that all pieces need to be cut sanded sawed and milled to fit.....oh wait i forgot its in invisable ink
on a serious note.....yes they need to be modified a bit to line up

ok ya i like the directions and screw kit that has the same but different size screws . been searching for a pic for a week now with no luck found some old fisher body ***embly pics but not ford.. just do not want to screw up my new wood . i stained it does anyone clear coat them?

i got my answer, i should have sanded before stain.. just would like to see a good pic someone will post one..
